My Background

I’ve had inky fingers since childhood, wearing the evidence of whatever art I escaped to. That was one of the reasons I identified with the character Jo in “Little Women.” I was clumsy, always had ink or marker all over me, and loved making up stories. I’m a poet, playwright, former stringer reporter and newspaper columnist turned blogger who enjoys the outdoors, acting, photography, and reading. I’ve published over 100 articles, stories and poetry in newsprint, magazines, Foundlinghouse.com and am a frequent contributor to the Chicken Soup for the Soul Series.
